In this timeframe, Death Mountain finally blew its top. The ring is faint, but its has been a considerable amount of time since the eruption, since trees line around the mountain. Maybe it’s the Gods way of showing us through death and fire, can we emerge again, but it would take time. Interesting theory, at best.

An additional lake far into Hyrule territory, called Lake Nabooru, flowed. Ironic, that the woman that deceived me and crushed our people, would be celebrated in name by the which the Hylians deprived us of, water. Hyrule is full of hypocrits! Why did you do this Nabooru, why did you do this to us?

Hyrule touted greenery and life. Such happiness and calm. This is what I envied. Can you blame a man wanting so much, but given so little to use. This was Lake Hylia, and for Gerudo, this was sacred ground.
